Description

Arrábida – The Hidden Paradise Near Lisbon.

The Serra da Arrábida, located about 40 km south of Lisbon, is a little paradise, little known and little explored, and is off the main tourist routes. The greenery of the vegetation begins at the highest points of these mountains and reaches the sea, which is intensely blue, with very transparent water, which is why dolphins can often be observed in this zone and which is considered the best place in Portugal for diving.

Some of the beaches that exist here (Portinho da Arrábida, Galapos, Coelha) are considered by many the most beautiful of Portugal and the most beautiful of the World.

With very ancient human vestiges, similar to Sintra, this is also a place that feeds many legends and several myths.

Just to visit the Serra da Arrábida this is one of the tours that you must do in the Lisbon area, but beyond this Natural Park, you will have the opportunity to cross the Lisbon Bridge (April 25) and visit the majestic statue of Christ the King, climb to its top and then observe the whole city of Lisbon from a wonderful angle.

Because the days must end in beauty, we will still visit, if you have strength, the village of Sesimbra and watch the fantastic sunset of Cabo Espichel, where is one of the most famous and mysterious ruins of Portugal, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Cape.
